Council
- To effectively carry out and administer the work of the congregation in an orderly fashion, the Church Council shall meet monthly for the transaction of such business as may properly come before it.
- The Church Council shall consist of the Pastor, Moderator, Church Clerk, Treasurer, Financial Secretary, Historian, and the Chairpersons or delegates from each of the following: Board of Trustees, Board of Deacons, Board of Religious Education, Stewardship Committee, Missionary Society, Willing Workers, Choir, Youth Fellowship, and any other organization duly recognized by the congregation.
- In managing the general affairs of the congregation, the Church Council shall transact the business of the church, make provision for the determining and raising of the current and benevolent budgets of the congregation, make provision for the distribution of funds, maintain a complete and accurate record of its proceedings and all monies received and expenditures of monies for congregational and benevolent purposes. For all un-budgeted expenditures, or any expenditure in excess of the annual budget, the Church Council shall approve such bill before payment.
- The Church Council shall exercise spiritual supervision of the entire congregation.
