Ugly Quilts
Inviting anyone who likes to hold a needle and thread in their hands.
We meet Tuesdays, from 9:00-1:00 in the lecture hall. We make sleeping bags for the homeless.
All materials used, old clothes, pieces of material are donated and used to make these sleeping bags. If we have the following items, we include them inside the sleeping bag:
- hat
- mittens/gloves
- pair of socks
- scarf
- t-shirt
- blanket
- shampoo
- conditioner
- soap
- tooth brush
- tooth paste
- comb
- pen
- Ugly Quilt prayer
- a copy of a Daily Bread
- wash cloth
- towel
We meet from the middle of September to the end of April. We gladly welcome new helpers.
