The Senior Food Box Program

The Senior Food Box Program is separate from the Weinberg food program but is also offered by Weinberg. Persons receiving the Senior Food Box Program boxes must be 60 or more years (I.D. check). An application form is required and is below. Applicants are asked to provide their contact information and to self-declare their income. All applicants must reside in Susquehanna County. Those receiving the Senior boxes are also eligible for the regular Weinberg distributions.

The Senior Food Boxes will be delivered to the Kime Apartments in Great Bend, Emerson Southgate Apartments in Hallstead, Howard J. Emerson Apartments in Hallstead and the New Milford Creekside Apartments (4th Friday of each month).

Harford Village Apartments will be delivered the 2nd Friday of the month.

Individual pick up will be held at the Master’s Building in Kingsley every 4^th Friday from 3:30-4:30 starting in March and Church of Hope and Peace, Hop Bottom every 2nd Friday of the month from 1:00-3:30.
