Hope is the anchor of the soul

Week Of: August 19, 2019
Speaker: Pastor Will Hagenbuch
Scripture: Psalm 71:1-6

Hope. Hope is the essence of the Christian life. Hope IS the Christian life.

R.C. Sproul, a great preacher, once based the following on Hebrews 6:19. He said, “Hope is called the anchor of the soul. Hope gives stability to the Christian life, but hope is not simply a “wish” (as I wish for such and such where I think this is how I think it should go). Rather, hope is that which latches onto the certainty of the promises that God has made.”

Our focus verse this Sunday is Psalm 71:5. “Oh Lord, you alone are my hope."

Join us Sunday we talk about trusting about an unknown future to a known God. Until then, God Bless you, and amen.
