King Ahaz (Isaiah 7:10ff) hadn’t been taught to worship the true God. His father, grandfather and great-grandfather had all either neglected or completely refused to serve and obey God.
Ahaz followed in their footsteps.
"I don't know what to get my child or grandchild," I often hear. Don't stress over the Perfect Gift. Share the gift you've been given, which is walking with a model of grace and forgiveness, humility and mercy. Teach from love to love. The rest is just stuff.
