Midweek Meditation

Week Of: January 18, 2021
Speaker: Pastor Will Hagenbuch
Scripture: Romans 8:5-19

"Someone else has it worse," is the universal response I hear from this congregation when I visit someone who has a great deal of heavy lifting going on in the moment. Did I say great deal? I mean G.R.E.A.T. deal!

I want to but never say, "Yes, but look at you!"

They wouldn't hear me if I did. The following does not apply to all, but the strong majority of you consider your current suffering cannot be compared to the glory that will be revealed to us. This is exactly what Paul speaks to in Romans 8:18, our scripture this Sunday.

APPLICATION:  You are right. Someone does have it worse. Continue to share the greatest Hope, that our current suffering cannot be compared to what will be, and what will be is our eternity with Jesus.
