Who hasn’t cried out to Jesus with a pain that is our own, or belongs to someone else we love?
This is exactly what happens in the fifteenth chapter of the Gospel of Matthew. Here, a Canaanite woman pleads for the health and wellbeing of her daughter. And when she recognizes who Jesus is, and calls Him what He is, Lord, then the change—then the healing—begins.
When we call Jesus who He is, Lord, change and healing begins.
Join us Sunday as we talk more of this, and, until then, continue to call Jesus who He is for change and healing.
Amen.
