The Apostle Paul offers the best counsel when everything around you seems to be falling in on itself. “Stay the course.”
Through bad days—and especially through really bad days—keep your faith grounded in Jesus, even if it feels like the ground under your feet is shaking.
To the church in Thessalonica which is experiencing all kinds of deep shakes and hardships (2 Thessalonians 2:1-5, 13-17), Paul shows us not just what to lean into (our faith), but who to lean into (our Jesus).
APPLICATION: Help us hold on, Jesus, with every breath we take. Even if we are out of breath or out of hope, help us hold to You not now and again but always. Amen.
