God sent this soul, John the Baptist, to tell about the light and let everyone believe in his testimony. God sends us to tell about the light and our testimonies, our stories. Bring light to darkness. Not that we ourselves are light, but that God is light within us.
I was speaking with someone earlier today, and we shared how imperfect we are as Christians—the two of us. Doubt and darkness and denial... that’s a part of who we are. As we continued to talk about this, we continued to hear what is true in our scripture Sunday about God being light.
