Rather than look to God for a change in our circumstances, we should look at what we need to change when we look to God.
The people of Israel forget what God has done when they reach Rephidim, a place where there is no water to drink (Exodus 17). This is beyond what some today experience as having senior moments. They do not remember God's provisions. They start to groan when, in reality, they, like us, are not trusting God through a challenging time.
Rituals and repetitions are beautiful. Like a planet around a sun, however, we do need to remain on the move. Of course, God moves. Of course, God responds. Let's find ourselves in new positions to see this happen.
