Sermon Intro

Week Of: September 13, 2021
Speaker: Pastor Will Hagenbuch
Scripture: 1 Peter 1:1-7
I did an electrocardiogram today since so many see my dad in me. (I do, too.) My dad died at the age of 60.

No worries everyone. This was just a look, a lead. Information.

Sam, my tech, is the head honcho in the department. He "came down" to cover someone who was out for the day.

We shared a bit about leadership. Fast forward. I told him I was irreverent as often as I could be. He understood.

Here's the intro to this coming Sunday's sermon on Christian character. Find joy. Laugh. Breath. Joke. Laugh more. The glass is more than half full. It is full. Some spills sometimes, but this can be refilled. Why? Because of our text on the 19th.

We'll learn from Peter. I see my faith like his in so many ways. Like my dad, he's someone else leading me.

Peter writes what we'll open Sunday. "So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead."
