The times I get into trouble with my congregation? Curious about that?
There's one answer. It's when I spotlight or highlight someone's work for God. A silent "okay" may happen because the person knows I seek to share how great God is in a person's specific ministry or moment.
90% of the time, though, I hear, "Please don't mention me," or "Please don't make a fuss. I'm just doing what I can do."
Paul speaks to triumphs and trials. He doesn't use these words, however. Instead, he shares what I will spotlight and highlight. "For when I am weak, then I am strong (2 Corinthians 12:1-10)."
