Perhaps you’ll agree that the waterfall doesn’t steal the show. Instead, my special guest and co-producer has a joy, and his joy is contagious.

FULL TRANSCRIPT: You totally did this as a kid. When you experienced injustice, you cried out, “That’s not fair!”
As you became an older kid, you argued for justice to happen.
A widow in scripture this Sunday repeatedly seeks out her judge and demands—you guessed it—justice.
Luke 18:4 and 5 says, “The judge ignores her for a while, but finally he says to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’”
Here’s a question. Do you wear out God, our judge, with your cries for justice?
We’ve all experienced that the cookie doesn’t crumble easily when it comes to justice, but rather than crumble, Jesus encourages us to keep going to God, the judge.
In fact, this parable is titled the persistent widow so that we are enabled, encourages and empowered not for our justice in the world, but God’s.
Until Sunday, and beyond Sunday, let God use you individually (and us collectively) to make injustice crumble. Amen.
